Okay, this Miiiight sound a tad rude, but If you made this game post appocaliptic, it'd baiscally be the same thing as "Tokyo Jungle"
I think we should keep it Modern.

I agree that is should be a combination of modern and post-apocalyptic. If most of the buildings already contribute to a "modern city style" then it makes sense that there could be a desolate part of town. Humans only dare to venture there on very rare occasion and with specific intent. p.s Environmentally post-apocalyptic. I was thinking that something like a powerful storm raged for a long time and damaged a human-made facility, but only affecting half the city. ;D pp.s  Actually having this game as an online version spinoff of Tokyo Jungle sounds pretty boss. |

*shiver* Yuck but I think maybe a Tokyo theme styled city would be so dang epic cause there are a hole but lode of strays in Tokyo and I mean and hole but lode. |

At first I thought modern would be better because there would be humans and animal control, but then again I think being able to thoroughly explore inside human buildings would be amazing, and that would be better in Post-Apocalyptic. You could have broken windows and sometimes there wouldn't even be a door, or maybe half of the building got blown off. Then again, it could be like a Zombie Apocalypse and it's just a normal city/town that is just completely devoid of all humans. (And zombies of course. After all, once all the humans are dead, they have nothing to feast on!)
