I've only recently heard of Kimba, and the rumor that Disney used the idea of Kimba the White Lion for The Lion King

I'll never look at the lion king the same again XD I watched Kimba The Lion with English subtitles, it was sad when Kimba's dad died. Is his name Panja? I can't find any information about it

Yes, his name was Panja. The jungle leo/Kimba goes back to is called "Panja's forest"
